on February 4th in Brisbane and ending on June 5th in Foxboro, Taylor is ready to set the mark for every other performer during the 2010 concert season.It is hard to believe that this 21 year old (born 12-13-1989) has become the star that she has in such a short time but fans, ticket and album sales all speak for themselves. With the release of "Tim McGraw" in 2006, Taylor opened up her heart for the world to see. The album eventually went platinum several times over and she has never looked back. She experienced even more success in 2008 with the release of her second album, "Fearless." "Fearless" was a staple atop the Billboard 200 and actually spent more time at number one than any other album in almost a decade. In addition to her record selling success, Taylor was acknowledged as the Artist of the Year in 2009 by Billboard Magazine. At the age of 20, she had experienced more success than many artists do for their entire career. Say what you want about reality TV shows that are based around music, i.e. America's Got Talent and American Idol, it is hard to argue the influence that they have on the American public. Taylor's appearance on America's Got Talent in August of 2007 surely had a great deal of influence on her meteoric rise to fame. The amount of exposure that anyone gets from a show like that is priceless. Just ask any winner of the American Idol show as just about every one of them is looking at a career that would simply not be possible if it were not for that show. Even without that exposure, it is hard to fathom that she would not have had the same success. Her stunning looks and beautiful voice set her apart from the "run of the mill" country artists that are performing everywhere you look. Further proof of her appeal is the fact that if you were to go to one of her shows, you are just as likely to see a man singing along to the tunes as you are a woman. Few female artists can get the tough guy Country Western fan to start singing along to ballads. It is unlikely that things will slow down anytime soon for Taylor Swift as her image is squeaky clean and she is arguably the most popular Country Western singer performing today. Proof of this is in the premium prices that are currently being charged for Taylor Swift tickets. While tickets are available for the current tour, they will have to be purchased through secondary agents because just about every show is sold out. Don't wait too long to secure Taylor Swift tickets for the 2010 tour because if you do, the only place you will be hearing her music from is in the parking lot.
